The Rosalie Mansion is open to the public seven days a week. They are open 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from March to October and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from November to February. They are found at 100 Orleans Street in Natchez, MS.
History of the Rosalie Mansion
The Rosalie Mansion is named after a French fort that was once built on the same piece of land in the year 1716. The land was purchased by Peter Little in the year 1820; he decided to build his home here, the Rosalie Mansion. It was completed in the year 1823. Peter used this home to take care of his wife; it later became a home for orphaned children.
