We recently had the opportunity to bring back an outstanding event in our community called Paws On The Patio. This event benefits the Animal Rescue Fund, most shelters are constantly struggling to keep animals re-homed and enough resources (food, treats, bedding, dog houses, etc.), but this last year the struggle has become more prominent. With COVID-19 being so challenging it’s hard to find staffing, funding, and people who will dedicate their lives to helping animals. Although adoption rates are high, these numbers still do not cover all the shelters needs, donations are still few and far between. The donations go to the animals heartworm treatments, vet bills, spayed and neutered fees, and teeth cleaning fees.
On August 5th the Fairview Inn hosted Paws On The Patio where we had micro-chipping, adoption opportunities, swimming pools for the dogs to play in, treats for the animals and their humans, yummy cocktails, donation opportunities, a silent auction, and a playful ambiance! We are so thankful for all of those that showed up to show their support to the Animal Rescue Fund! Below you can see some fun photos that we are sure will put a smile on your face!
