As soon as you come to Jackson, MS, you’ll feel like you stepped back in time. After all, we’re an old Southern city and the capital of the state! Apart from the buildings, there are a few things historical aspects that remain, but that includes Brent’s Drugs! If you’ve ever wanted to visit one of those authentic pharmacy and soda fountain stops, then you found the right place! The store was opened in 1946 and immediately became a friendly-gathering spot for locals. After decades, a Fondren resident decided to give the old pharmacy a modern twist, while still carefully conserving the original setting beloved by many.
Brent’s Drugs is open on Mondays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Friday from 7 a.m. til 8:30 p.m., Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
